The iconic annual showcase will transform Victoria Park into a living runway, set to spotlight outstanding, local, queer designers whose work blends fashion, activism, and fearless self-expression. . . Before a crowd of thousands.

The event will take place as part of Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras’ iconic event, Fair Day.

Fair Dar will be bigger, bolder and bursting with community pride in 2026. It’s the day Sydney stops, gathers, and glows together in full colour – a celebration of culture, community, and creativity at the beating heart of Mardi Gras.

As the sun dips low, after such events as Doggywood, Trans Camp and Drag King Games, Queer Fashion Runway will take over, in a display of queer style for the next generation.

So, have you got what it takes? Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras is calling all queer creatives, designers and makers: this runway is yours.

You must be available until 4pm on 15 February, and source 3-6 models to wear your looks.
