Pack your glitter, grab your bestie and get all your best moves ready. . . Albany Pride Festival is turning ten and you're invited to celebrate with them.

Albany Pride Festival

The 2026 event is shaping up to be the biggest, brightest, most fabulous edition yet, packing 12 days full of queer joy, bold visibility and community vibes.

From humble 2016 beginnings to its growth as a headline event in the WA calendar, Albany Pride Festival is powerful and deeply meaningful. And in 2026, it's a celebration of not only a decade of the event, but also the Albany/Kinjarling Bicentenary with the guidance and partnership of Menang Noongar Elders and community leaders.

Albany Pride Festival is a love letter to regional LGBTQIA+ communities, a celebration of queer identity, and a gathering which uplifts, connects, and aims to make every person feel seen.

Albany Pride Festival aligns with the WA Labour Day long weekend, and leads into the City Of Albany's huge commemorative event Lighting The Sound. So what are you waiting for?! Start planning that little WA Gay-Cay getaway, lock in your time off, and get ready for a Pride celebration like no other.

The programme is simply overflowing with iconic favourites, new queer delights, and plenty of community magic. There's classics like Fairday, the dog show, Drag Bingo with BarbieQ, the Bi+ Picnic, and loads of family-friendly fun.

Plus, Live At The Town Hall: Queer Edition celebrates its premiere, and audiences can enjoy striking visual exhibitions A Decade Of Pride and The 82 Abettors Of The Zeewyijk.

The Barn Dance makes its return in 2026, and on the sports side of things you can check out – among other stuff – the Great Southern Football League Women's Pride Round.

There are a number of ways you can join in and be part of the Albany Pride Festival too – outside of simply attending. You can host a stall at Fairday. . . Become a Festival Partner or Business Ally. . . Sponsor the festival, or even pay it forward with a sponsored ticket to help someone in the community experience Pride!

Albany Pride Festival is on from 19 February-2 March.
