Gaytimes Festival Victoria 2022 Line-Up

Queer camping music and arts festival Gaytimes is returning for its sixth anniversary.

Gaytimes Festival - L-R, Top-Bottom: Haiku Hands, Ngaiire, Vetta Borne, Cry Club

The boutique festival, held in Victoria, will offer an enchanting weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and sexuality to 1,000 festival-goers camping (or glamping!) under the stars, just over an hour's drive from Melbourne.

This year's line-up boasts more than 50 live acts and DJs over three days.

Headlining proceeding will be neo-soul powerhouse Ngaiire, returning after playing the 2017 festival, alongside dance pop collective Haiku Hands and queer bubblegum punk duo Cry Club.

On the outdoor stages, you can expect to see sets from RnB breakout star Vetta Borne, songbird Kee'ahn, electronic pop due Sumner, singer-songwriter Harper Bloom, punk trio Scabz, post-punk four piece Pinch Points, up-and-coming hip hip act Hoodzy, Kyva, Kult Kyss, Sputnik Sweetheart, Max Lawrence, Brendan Maclean, The Merindas and Simona Castricum.

Wax'o Paradiso and Jennifer Loveless lead a DJ line-up including Ayebatonye, Bertie, Daws, Tinika, Sophie Forrest, Nick Spurway, Club Confide's Simonetti B2B Jesse DM, Shinobi, Gay Roberto and more.

Fanny Paq will be bringing femmes to the front on Friday night, while Saturday and Sunday mornings will see queer dance music collective Kamp Kamp throwing a morning rave in the rainforest chapel!

“Gaytimes has always been proud to curate a really diverse range of live acts and DJs – from a diverse range of backgrounds and identities, and across a range of genres from electro pop to punk rock and from soul to house and techno, so there’s always something for everyone,” Festival Director Anna Whitelaw says.

“In 2022, we’re hosting an all-Aussie line-up that will be an exciting mix of emerging artists and previous festival favourites to create the magical experience we’ve come to be known for.”

Beyond just music, Gaytimes will also present a bunch of performance art, drag, cabaret, comedy, theatre, circus and dance too. There's House Of Devine, Lou Wall, Granny Bingo, drag superstar Aysha Buffet, a piano bar hosted by Ronnie Rai, and the return of Gay Stuff Markets.
